Frequently Asked Questions

Title Case capitalises the first letter of each word. For example: "the quick brown fox" → "The Quick Brown Fox". It is used for headings, book titles, and product names.
camelCase starts with a lowercase letter; each subsequent word starts with an uppercase letter. No spaces. Example: "user profile name" → "userProfileName". Widely used in JavaScript variable naming.
PascalCase (also called UpperCamelCase) capitalises the first letter as well: "userProfileName" (camel) vs "UserProfileName" (Pascal). Pascal is common for class names in most languages.
kebab-case uses lowercase words separated by hyphens. It is commonly used in HTML/CSS class names, file names, and URL slugs. Example: "background-color", "my-component".
